Cancellation Policy

24 Hours Notice 

Students can cancel and make up two lessons per year (Sept-June) with more than 24 hours notice for any reason.  If a student misses or needs to cancel a scheduled make-up lesson, another one will not be scheduled. 

Less Than 24 Hours Notice

Students cancelling lessons with less than 24 hours notice forfeit the lesson time and lessons will not be made up.

Tardiness

If a student arrives late for a lesson, the lesson will only last the scheduled duration.

Illness

All illness related absences are subject to the 24 hour policy.

Teacher Absence

In the instance of a teacher absence a supply teacher may teach the lesson.  If a lesson is cancelled due to teacher absence, the student will receive a make-up lesson for all affected lessons. 

Holidays/Inclement Weather/Studio Closure

Lessons will be made-up in the event that lessons fall on a statutory holiday, or are cancelled due to inclement weather or studio closure.
